Stellar reporting and editorial commentary, David, on the wrecking ball that the rebarbative and amoral trump embodies. trump's actions can be described as that of a human analogue of a malicious AI "agent" that has been set a task to destroy all that preceded him, "without fear or favor", and is mindlessly plowing through institutions, rules of conduct, tradition, and people to achieve that objective. No "sandbox" seems to constrain his machinations other than the federal courts — including Scotus, but as you noted, this "agent" finds workarounds...put up a roadblock, he'll find alternative pathways to achieve his goals.

The time is long overdue to pull the plug on this humanoid HAL and his destructive impulses.

Trump, *like the Republican Party itself*, never stops unless he chooses to. The great example of late is the tariffs. On one hand, nearly no one says No to Trump. On the other, Donny doesn’t take rejection well in the least. What do y’all think the “Big Lie” and J6 were about?

And so on and so forth.

For both Donny and the GOP, a defeat is a battle lost; the war (or serial abuse in Trump’s case) goes on.

It’s libs who confuse a battle won with a final victory.

But let’s just keep underestimating them and overestimating our brief victories…

It’s really worked out well the last couple of decades…

And good luck to Canada. Because that’s something of another battle won that will last however long it does…
