Ooh! I'm celebrating your son's 21st birthday, too! We never know what is around the corner and forget that the future isn't guaranteed! A toast to this particular moment!!
David, I love your newsletter. So succinct, so smart, so good. But I’m really writing to congratulate you and your son, and tell you how much I enjoyed the photo the scotch celebration. Your family has been through so much, so what a happy moment to share. Thank you.
Happy Birthday and Congratulations to your son, David. The fact he went through so much and has bounced back like he has shows he's on a path to real success.
Given the fact that there are ongoing criminal investigations into the financial machinations of shadowy people and orgs. associated with tRump Media, why did the SEC give its blessing to the SPAC merger in the first instance? No surprise at all that there may well be dirty money attached to a tRump company, but the criminal investigations have been in place for a while. so where was the necessary oversight to the merger, and at least pause it whilst the process played out?
There was always a disconnect in what Trump paid Michael Cohen, and what Cohen paid to Stormy Daniels’ attorney. Adam Klasfeld broke it down on video, and the $50k to manipulate polls….whoa! Makes the narrative around a porn star misleading indeed. Happy 21st to your son…you two deserve that celebration and wishes for many more trips around the sun ☀️
First, congrats to David's so. Hope the recovery continues well to completion.
Back to business...:
Team Smith's reply Cannon was, in addition to the obvious, an implicit calling her as, well... I can't put the nice, appropriate words together.
But the Times' piece about the filing didn't even allude to that til the last two paragraphs and then tried to minimize it as much as possible.
Related: that's an example of the problem with polling at this point: so many people are so poorly informed even as they think they're being informed. Really, no outlet among the elite news media's trustworthy on anything important as a rule. So responses are cray-cray and we have the example of u-turns when a respondent is provided with a fact.

Congratulations David on preservation of the scotch, to
celebrate with your son on his 21st birthday. A rough year of healing for you both.
So glad both of your brains are well and that you helped to keep that boy in one piece. Happy Birthday to you both!!!
