Timothy Snyder's, Do Not

Obey In Advance. I'm on his

Substack and have read

several of his books. He and

Heather Cox Richardson are

truly extraordinary teachers

of History, which is always in

our rear view mirror.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, Trumo is headed to Allentown PA, a city w/hose population is 50% Hispanic, mostly Boricua. This is a provocation, designed to lead to violence. I have little doubt that that's his intention.

The NYT/Siena poll is bullshit - like most everything else produced these days by the nation's finest fishwrap. They use assumptions about the electorate and poll weighting that no other poll uses. They're not some fucking gold standards. They're AG Sulzberger's version of Rasmussen.

Stop using the NYT for anything other than litter box liner and fishwrap.

NYT DELENDA EST!!

Why do you keep quoting the Times Sienna polls when their sampling and methodology are hopelessly flawed?????

How do people get so thoroughly disconnected from reality? The craziest science fiction is more believable.

Check out these MAGA supporters at the MSG hate event:

That rally....there are no words. Trump has ruined this country. Plain and simple. Have people had these dark thoughts and intentions? Yes, all along the way. But Trump has given them permission to go mainstream, and frightened leaders into submission. I have hope, but I am sad for what we have lost.

Amending what I just wrote: it was your warning about violence potential effective with election night. We needed to hear that.

Thank you for presenting what we need to know, especially AOC warning. For the last few years I have tried to share my fears about djt, his cabal, his army, with other voters. No one wanted to hear what I said. So I stopped. I suppose Berliners were doing the same in the '30s. Now we are up against a wall.

Gonna go on brand here: was the Post’s passing on endorsing a POTUS candidate submitting to the fascist or, by not endorsing Kamala, promoting the fascist candidate? Why would anyone assume a zillionaire is opposed to fascism or that one wouldn’t prefer the fascist and fascism as more lucrative?

And if that seems extreme, consider the non-fascists they do back e.g. members of the Party of Trump.

These people are in no way defenders let alone promoters of democracy so why think this is fearful submission instead of promotion?

TX poll no surprise, Dems just can't get across the line first...whatever direction people believe Tejas is trending, it will take a few more election cycles to restore Democratic wins on the state and federal level.

Same in FL, where the corrupt and unliked Rick Scott is on his way to reëlection, as the state itself is going heavily tRumpy.

Can't avoid the inevitable: At least for the next two years, the US Senate will have a working R majority.

I do not believe Texas will make a turn in the right direction for a couple more decades.

I lived there from 1982 till I moved to New Mexico last year. It got worse and worse with each passing year, and I finally said enough.

Democrats in Texas are fighting as best they can but the state is simply too far gone. Too much corruption and too much racism and bigotry.

Make America Hate Again

This wasn’t an accident. It was the point. It’s what MAGA was built on—a message to the white, the bitter, and the fearful that their ginned up anger is a rallying cry, a political stance, and a weapon. It's a promise that America belongs to them and no one else. It’s why Trump’s rallies don’t even try to reach beyond his hardcore base. The sad part is that, for as many reasonably-minded people as he'll lose because of this abomination, he'll gain just as many who want nothing more than a fourth Reich.

An Open Letter to Your Friend or Relative Planning to Vote for Trump: Your Vote for Trump Is an Endorsement of Bigotry, Cruelty, and the Erosion of Rights—No Matter the Reason You Give.

…i’m tired to write this:

…fascism is not an ideology, it’s the way to take and hold power by any means

…democrats strive for equality, republicans want power, republicans do not want to govern, they want to rule, democrats notoriously want not to be seen as an oppressor, republicans do not give a shit about laws or rules of ethics

…fascism us not an ideology, it’s the way to take and hold power by any means, it took Hitler over decade to come to power, please put those “two and twos” together, we need much more then vote - we need ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT !!!

…trump is not a cause - HE IS JUST A SYMPTOM
