Good morning, David, and a hearty well-played on the Hillbilly Vance highlights. Hillbilly is more and more seen as an albatross rather than a good-luck charm round tRump's neck, and Kamala Harris' own VP choice will have a broad menu of not only absurd but truly frightening Hillbilly utterances from which to launch political attacks.
tRump will rue the day he listened to Junior, Eric, and SV billionaires to promote this guy to No.2.
Also wondering if the RNC by-laws have something like a "Lemon law", where Hillbilly is adjudged "defective", and the GOP get a replacement at no charge.
So while it’s especially tempting to highlight these juicy tidbits, I think it wiser to take the policy highway and concentrate on his votes in the senate and his policy stances- foreign and domestic. Of course, Trump and MAGA prefer the personal playing field as they don’t have to talk about policy or lack .therof.
Dems should set up another repeating constantly how Trump’s past administration , Project 2025, and all Republican votes in Congress hit the pocketbook, restricted freedom etc of working/ middle class voters vs. Biden Administration and the policies Harris and Democrats running on.
I don’t understand why the Democrats don't shutdown the border screaming by listing by name every Republican that said no to a bipartisan bill that would have at least provided essential resources.Their reason: Trump told them to do so. And it’s ridiculous to lay this at Harris’ feet. Congress has been fiddling around( unsuccessfully) to come up with legislation to handle immigration for decades. And they should publish the names of all Republicans who voted against infrastructure bill and are now taking credit for projects in their states financed by that very bill.
Sorry - the NY Times is not where I go to get ballistics analysis. Especially since they are demonstrably biased in favor of 45 AND are loathe EVER to back down once they've decided they know the truth.
I wouldn't be surprised if Trump dropped Vance before the election. He'd even make Vance write a resignation speech claiming he's "leaving the campaign for the good of the nation."
Trump'll regret all the family members and wealthy donors who bent his ear in favor of JD.
Funny how little is known about a shooting involving a former POTUS, huh? Maybe we need to elect Democratic POTUS to get appropriate media scrutiny?
As for Vance, being pushed by Jr Mint, I mean, maybe only a dotard with cognitive decline would trust Jr Mint’s judgement.
Anyway, Vance: I’m completely convinced he’s couch-f***er and will need hard proof to belief contrary.
same
The best thing about Vance being a bust is that 'the boys' picked him. Please don't dump him!

Did NYT report on all the
shrapnel that was flying
around up there by Trump?
I no longer subscribe to their
biased publication. I frankly
believe the FBI take. They
most likely have been able,
in their nefarious ways 🤣,
to get a medical report.
An entertaining report David.
Good way to start the
weekend.
Your reporting on the bullet vs shrapnel is so balanced ☺️. I hadn’t herd about the 8 bullets fired report
I have stopped reading most of NYT due to their “both sidesing”

But what about the second shooter on the grassy knoll? NYT has fully morphed into the print version of FOX.
