Great summary as always. My Senator Reed (who makes sure everyone in RI and CT are employed in the nuclear submarine business) has gone all in on fusion with Energy Secretary Granholm. I think you’ll see green (wind and solar) interim strategy until fusion is ready. Follow Livermore Labs. Fusion has been short funded for decades. New Yorker ran a great piece on the progress before this latest investment by US taxpayers as well as private investors. Bill Gates Terra Project for smallish nuclear power plants is worth watching too.
"The nation’s most conservative appeals court put a temporary hold on the order by a Louisiana federal judge limiting Biden administration contact with social media platforms. It also expedited oral arguments in the case." ---- Just a stray thought; does it seem to you that the good Louisiana judge is stepping on the 1st Amendment rights of the White House and selected federal agencies, in the name of defending the 1st Amendment?
Definitely a big thank you David on your reply to Russell.
Was surprised you didn't
mention the DeSantis Militia/
Army for disaster response.
Not sure I understand the
concept of training hand to
hand combat and wearing
side arms, in response to
Nature's "Told You So!" results of defense. That could
be in the fine print of the
governors latest abuse of
power. When DeSantis says,
"Listen and learn," we better
pay damn close attention to
this fascist.

The gov't doesn't go quite that far in its arguments, but it nods toward what you're saying here in its appeal:
The government is entitled to “advocate and defend its own policies.” Board of
Regents, 529 U.S. at 229. Government officials can express views about the world—
including about whether expressive communications are false and harmful. Restricting
such expression would undermine the separation of powers and would impede First
Amendment values, rather than promoting them, by removing the government’s voice
from the marketplace of ideas.
Thanks for the clarification. I appreciate you taking time and effort to respond.
