Somehow the fate of the SS United States, built at the high tide of the American Republic, seems an appropriate metaphor for the fate of the county whose name she carries.

A fine sentence from David Kurtz that also describes this moment in American history. Let's do what we can now to build our resources for a fresh start in January 2029.
